Regathering Update

We are very excited to share with you that we are now regathering on-campus for weekend services at all of our locations. We believe it is time for us to reunite as a church family and worship Jesus as one. We are working hard to make this a safe environment for all who come to Shepherd Church each and every weekend which is why we are taking every precaution necessary. We can’t wait to see you! Please note, that if you are not comfortable coming or you are unable to come for health reasons, we completely understand and support your decision and continue to look forward to you joining us online.

Regathering Information & FAQ's

What safety precautions will the church be taking?

To ensure a safe on-campus visit for everyone, you’ll see some new and intentional changes to our weekend services. We will have plenty of extra masks on hand, as well as hand sanitizer, if you need some. All designated entry doors will be opened so you won’t need to touch any surfaces. Sermon notes and communion elements will not be passed out, but instead will be located at the entry doors for you to pick up. In addition, within the Worship Center there will be limited capacity and physically distanced seating.

Will Shepherd continue to have online services?

Yes, we will! If you are not comfortable joining us on-campus or you are unable to come for health reasons, we invite you to join us online.

Will there be outdoor seating available?

Yes, we will have an outside patio area with our new LED wall. Bring your lawn chairs or blanket and enjoy the fresh air as we worship outside.

Will there be services for Kids and Youth?

As a part of our regathering, we won’t be offering Shepherd Kids or Shepherd Youth services. Our hope is to begin offering those services in the coming weeks. In the meantime, the Youth & Sports Center (gymnasium) and outdoor seating are both great alternatives for families with children.

What will the Worship Center capacity be for each service?

The Worship Center will have limited seating available. We encourage everyone to practice physical distancing within the open rows, and to sit only with people in your household.

Who will be allowed to attend service?

Everyone is welcome to join us for weekend services. However, it’s up to each and every one of us to keep each other safe. If you are feeling sick, have been exposed to someone who is sick, or for other health reasons are unable to come, we kindly ask you to stay home. You can always worship with us online.

Will masks/face coverings be required?

While you are at any of our locations, we ask that masks/face coverings be worn at all times. You can love others by wearing a mask and maintaining the suggested physical distancing guidelines with anyone who isn’t part of your household.

Will there be communion?

We will continue to have communion every weekend, but it will no longer be passed out during service. Communion elements will be available for you to pick up on your way in.

How can I give my tithes & offering?

We are encouraging everyone to continue to give online at shepherdchurch.com/give. For those of you with physical gifts, we will provide offering buckets at the doors for you to drop off your tithes and offerings.
